It combines thrilling detective work with unique matchmaking opportunities in a sophisticated setting. It's a completely fresh, story-led alternative to traditional dating events.

Why is there a waitlist and not direct ticket sales?

Answer: We use a waitlist to guarantee a balanced, high-quality event. This allows us to manage the gender ratio and vet every attendee, ensuring a successful night for everyone. This commitment to quality is what makes Date & Detect™ a fresh alternative to traditional dating.

What is the date of the event? The Eventbrite date changes.

Answer: The date displayed on the Eventbrite page is provisional and for system purposes only. The actual event dates will be announced exclusively to our waitlist members, giving you priority notification.

Why is there no date yet?

Answer: Because we’re doing this right. We’re curating an incredible mix of singles for a new kind of dating night - story-led, elegant, and totally different from the usual. The venue is ready. The mystery is written. We have launched with very limited spots. Join the wait list now for first access.

What if I'm not a "detective at heart"?

Answer: No problem at all! While there's a murder mystery, the emphasis is on a fun, interactive evening and meeting new people. You don't need any prior detective skills. Our hosts will guide you through the process, ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy the intrigue.

What if I don't want to date but want to attend this Murder Mystery event?

Answer: If you are not interested in dating but are interested in our murder mystery, reach out via email (dateanddetect@outlook.com) and we can explore our non-dating event options. NOTE: this offer is not open to individuals but to teams/groups as minimum guest booking numbers apply.

What is the age range for the Eventbrite listed event?

Answer: The events are age-grouped to ensure a balanced experience. While we initially started with one age range, due to the expressions of interest, we're excited to announce we're now building waitlists for multiple groups: 30s-40s, 40s-50s, and 50s-60s. This helps us ensure the best match for everyone.

How will the "matchmaking" element work?

Answer: Our matchmaking component is seamlessly woven into the captivating mystery experience. As you work together to solve clues, you'll naturally connect and collaborate with other singles, promoting authentic interactions in a relaxed and engaging setting, away from the stress of conventional dating formats. What if I am not single and want to attend the Murder Mystery event?
